Abstract
This paper is devoted to the application and practice of iterative alternat ing projection algorithm in the solution for non-LTE stellar atmospheric mo del with the method of linearized separation. By using the iterative altern ating projection algorithm, a reduction of dimension and the removal of ill -conditioning may be realized. Its solution can converge to the least squar es solution of the original solution, and this has been verified by practic e. Therefore, the method of linearized separation can replace that of compl ete linearization in the solution for atmospheric models.
