Abstract
A 6W average power at 772 nm is achieved by using a fibre integrated optica l modulator for seeding of a 10W erbium fibre amplifier followed by 64% eff icient second-harmonic generation in PPKTP. The source benefits from compac t, efficient, fibre-based format and high overall efficiency.
