Abstract
The performance benefits of spatial multiplexing are evaluated for an other wise unmodified Hiperlart/2 physical laver. To obtain an 'upper bound' resu lt, full complexity ML decoding of the V- BLAST OFDM signal is performed. P erformance results using statistical multi-element channel models are compa red with those using state-of-the-art MIMO channel measurements.
