Abstract
We have studied the effect of hydrostatic pressure both on the electrical c onduction anisotropy and on the temperature dependence of the resistivity i n (TMTTF)(2)Br. At ambient pressure diffusive electrical conduction charact eristic of localized states is found, while at high pressure we observed a sharp SDW phase transition, which signifies a Fermi surface instability. Th e pressure induced crossover between localized and delocalized electronic s tates is smooth and it has no effect on the anisotropy.
