Abstract
The paper derives expressions for the magnetization distributions that resu lt in one-sided fluxes in infinitely long cylinders whose cross sections ar e confocal ellipses. It discusses their relationship to the expressions for a circular cylinder, and gives examples of the flux distributions due to s pecific magnetizations.
