3D modeling and inductance measurements were used to design an ultra-high f
requency perpendicular system. Kerr microscopy and spin-stand experiments w
ith focused ion beam (FI-B) trimmed perpendicular heads and perpendicular m
edia directly verified the high frequency concepts.
