Abstract
In this paper we present a model-independent, multi-level, closed loop appr oach to software reuse that makes tuning of reuse systems mostly automatic, and includes a reward system for development of reusable components. The p roposed techniques are shown to be suitable for development in-the-small by fixing some locally measured reuse coefficients for small teams. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
