Abstract
The molybdenum complex of C-70, [Mo(eta (2)-C-70)(CO)(2)(phen)(dbm)] (1) (p hen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dbm = dibutyl maleate) has been synthesised by h eating a solution of C-70 with [Mo(CO)(2)(phen)(dbm)(2)] in toluene followe d by chromatography over silica gel and the crystal structure has been dete rmined.
