Abstract
The reaction of NF4+SbF6- with alkali metal nitrates in either CH3CN or SO2 solution at low temperatures produces FONO2 in quantitative yield. Attempt s were unsuccessful to prepare FONO from NF4SbF6 and KNO2 in an analogous m anner. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science BN. All rights reserved.
