Abstract
The half-metallic compound Sr2FeMoO6 has been doped with 25% Cr, Mn or Cc o n the Fe, Mo sites. High-resolution neutron diffraction was used to determi ne the cation site occupation, the magnetic structure at 2 K and the tetrag onal distortion accompanying the magnetic state. The valence state of the d ifferent cations is discussed using the measured interatomic distances. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
