Abstract
The high Curie temperature (approximate to 420 K) and the high-spin polariz ation of the double perovskite Sr2FeMoO6 make it a promising candidate for potential applications at room temperature in spin electronics. Mossbauer s pectra, measured from 77 to 480 K, provide information about the electronic configuration of iron and its crystallographic environment. (C) 2001 Publi shed by Elsevier Science B.V.
