In ErCo2 the substitution of Er by Y or Tm results in a reduction of the ex
change field inducing an itinerant magnetic moment on the Co sites. Close t
o the critical concentration for a collapse of the itinerant d moment the i
tinerant metamagnetic behaviour of the d subsystem is studied as a function
