Abstract
Extensive magnetic studies on Nd50Fe40Si10 Melt-spun ribbons with thickness es up to 150 mum were performed. The large value of the coercive field up t o 300 kA/m at room temperature and its dependence on the cooling rate as we ll as the DC M-ZFC and M-FC and AC-susceptibility measurements for the Nd50 Fe40Si10 fully amorphous ribbons indicate the coexistence of two kinds of m agnetic order: long-range ferromagnetic order and short-range spin-glass or der.
