The effect of WO3 addition on the properties of NiCuZn ferrite, (Ni0.2Cu0.2
Zn0.6O)(1.02)(Fe2O3)(0).(98), has been investigated in this study. The enha
nced electrical and magnetic properties obtained from WO3 addition into NiC
uZn ferrites were also shown in this study. Q-factor at 10 MHz of NiCuZn fe
rrites increased at higher electrical resistivity, but no significant chang
e in initial permeability. The resonance frequency of those NiCuZn ferrites
was shifted to a higher range, which means relaxation time was also decrea
sed over 0.6 wt% of WO3 content. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights
