Abstract
The first NMR study of MnAs epitaxial thin films grown on (0 0 1)GaAs is re ported. Based on the invariance of Mn-55 and As-75 hyperfine fields it is s hown that the local magnetic properties of MnAs thin films remain the same as in the bulk material. A hysteresis of the domain pattern upon applying t he magnetic field is inferred from the evident reversible changes of the NM R spectrum shape. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science BY. All rights reserved.
