Abstract
We report on the magnetotransport properties of zigzag-shaped Cc and Ni wir es with different domain structures, i.e., multi-domain and single domain s tructures. Although the orientation dependence of the domain structures of Co and Ni wires are quite similar to each other, the transport properties s how distinct behaviors. Based on the magnetic forced microscopy and microma gnetics simulations, the different characteristics between Co and Ni wires are discussed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
