The Co-59 nuclear magnetic resonance technique was used to investigate a se
t of melt-spun Cu85Co15 ribbons heat-treated at different temperatures. In
the as-cast sample the grains are very small and the contribution of the su
rface prevails over the bulk. Heat treating the samples, the contribution o
f the bulk FCC Co grows and for temperatures around 500 degreesC, a small a
mount of HCP Co seems also to be present. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science BY. All
