Abstract
The scattering of the electron by a domain wall in a nano-wire is calculate d perturbatively to the lowest order. The resistance by the wall is calcula ted based on Landauer's formula. The pressure on the wall due to the electr on scattering is calculated from the phase shift. (C) 2001 Published by Els evier Science B.V.
