In an article previously published in this journal by the authors, a state-
space model of a curved piezostructure was developed and used to investigat
e the effects of curvature on panel dynamics. Panel curvature was shown to
increase control system bandwidth and to affect transducer coupling. In the
present work, the model is extended to include the effects of internal pre
ssure loading on the dynamics of a curved piezostructure. The impact of int
ernal pressure loading on the dynamics of a curved piezostructure, and subs
equently on active structural acoustic control (ASAC) of sound transmission
