Abstract
The quadrupoles and sextupoles for the Swiss Light Source. a 2.4 GeV electr on storage ring, had severe requirements on the manufacturing tolerances an d the alignment of their magnetic axis. The 306 multipoles were manufacture d, and magnetically measured at BINP and after delivery also at Paul Scherr er Institute. In this paper, the Rotating Coil Systems for precise magnetic measurements is described, and for the series magnets the main results of the magnetic measurements are also presented.
