Abstract
A new design of the electrostatic energy analyzer for photoelectron spectro scopy studies is proposed, which is especially suited for angle-resolved an d spectromicroscopy studies at synchrotron radiation sources. The design is based on a combination of a hemispherical deflector with a hollow cylindri cal immersion lens and a preliminary 90 degrees deflector. (C) 2001 Elsevie r Science B.V. All rights reserved.
