Abstract
A reconstruction algorithm by the cubic spline function interpolation, whic h is used to recover a signal from its dyadic wavelet transform extrema (in stead of modulus maxima), is proposed. Numerous experiment results demonstr ate its satisfying properties. Compared with previous algorithms it is simp ler, more straightforward and faster.
