Anomalous diffusion and dynamical localization in polygonal billiards - art. no. 114101

We study numerically classical and quantum dynamics of a piecewise paraboli c area preserving map on a cylinder which emerges from the bounce map of el ongated triangular billiards. The classical map exhibits anomalous diffusio n. Quantization of the same map results in a system with dynamical localiza tion and pure point spectrum.
