Abstract
Water-soluble cationic, amphoteric, and anionic polyelectrolytes were prepa red from wastes of the Nitron fiber production. The extent to which the pol yelectrolytes reduce the turbidity, content of petroleum products, and chem ical oxygen demand was studied as a function of polyelectrolyte type and it s concentration.
