Abstract
Highly selective refining of light vacuum gas oil by five-step countercurre nt extraction of aromatic and heteroatomic compounds with N-methylpyrrolido ne or dimethylacetamide in the presence of low-boiling nonpolar solvents wa s studied. The resulting refined oil can be used as high-quality raw materi al in hydrocracking and catalytic cracking.
