Abstract
This paper outlines parallel characteristics in managers from East and West Germany against the background of group training experiences. Di fferences and common traits are discussed in their correlations and un der the focus of mutual influences. Points of interest are group dynam ics, patterns of communication and self-concepts of roles and values. A tendency towards mutual approach and cooperation can be found.
