Abstract
X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering techniques have been used to study t he structure of lithium potassium niobate crystals. The results show that a new phase (K3Li2Nb5O15) starts to appear at x = 0.1 and becomes dominant a t x = 0.5. Two phase transitions of LixK1-xNbO3 corresponding to orthorhomb ic-tetrogonal (O-T) and tetragonal-cubic (T-C) transitions, have been obser ved using DSC. The doping effect on phase transition of LixK1-xNbO3 crystal has been studied. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
