Abstract
The effect of mechanical activation on the course of reactions involved in the synthesis of calcium hydroxyapatite Ca-10(PO4)(6)(OH)(2) was studied; t he composition, crystallographic parameters, spectroscopic characteristics, and dielectric properties of the products were determined. The role of the composition of initial components on the rate of synthesis is analyzed. (C ) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
