Abstract
1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition reaction of aromatic nitrones with 3-alkenoyl-2-o xazolidinones in the presence of a chiral 2,6-bis(4R-trialkylsiloxymethylox azolinyl)pyridine/Ni(II) system proceeds smoothly with high enantioselectiv ity in up to 99% ee. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
