Abstract
The Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation (VChR) emitted by the heavy ions Au-79 was studied by the photography method. The photographs of the radiation near an d below the VChR threshold are published for the first time. (C) 2001 Elsev ier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
