Abstract
The International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG) Dog Leukocyte Antigen (DLA) Nomenclature Committee met during the 'Comparative Evolution of the M ammalian major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC)' meeting in Manchester, UK on 10 September 2000. The main points discussed were the naming of class I genes and alleles, and the inclusion of alleles from other canidae.
