Abstract
We use the recent reanalysis of multi-TeV gamma -ray observations of Mrk 50 1 to constrain the Lorentz invariance breaking parameter involving the maxi mum electron velocity. Our limit is two orders of magnitude better than tha t obtained from the maximum observed cosmic-ray electron energy. (C) 2001 E lsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
