Abstract
We report a comparison of the erratic behaviour of magnetic flux quant a by a superconducting circuit that has two superconducting loops that are joined by a common Josephson junction and that has been subjected to an applied magnetic B field, to chaotic scattering. The Lyapunov e xponent, uncertainty exponent, fractal dimension, and the particle exi t-time decay rate have been calculated numerically.
