The contribution is devoted to the deformation behaviour analysis of t
hree TiNi-type shape memory alloys containing 49.5 at.%Ni(A), 50.4 at.
%Ni(B) and 50.8 at.%Ni(C), respectively. The tensile tests were used t
o evaluate deformation characteristics of work hardened and annealed a
lloys. Both the ,,yield point'' and ,,elastic moduli'' of shape memory
alloys are influenced by transformation and/or reorientation plastici
ty. The quality of shape memory phenomena is determined by level of wo
rk hardening.
