Abstract
Haemangiomas of the maxillary sinus are very rare. In this paper we pr esent one case with an inaccurate preoperative diagnosis which was tre ated by entire excision of the tumour. One year after surgery there is no evidence of recurrence. The literature an the topic is reviewed.
