Abstract
In this report, we present a patient with chronic hepatitis C-associated cr yoglobulinemia who was kept on maintenance interferon treatment because of flare-ups in cryoglobulinemia-associated signs and hepatitis after withdraw al, dose reduction, and increase in dose intervals of interferon. This type of interferon use for treatment of cryoglobulinemia gave us a chance to ob serve the long-term effects of interferon on cryoglobulinemia and chronic h epatitis C remission for biochemical, virologic, and histologic aspects.
