Abstract
A miniature monoblock bandpass filter with combline-type, quarter-wavelengt h, and capacitive coupling is investigated. The coupling analysis and equiv alent circuit consist of the transmission lines, and lumped elements are pr esented to predict the filter performance. A filter design technique based on the results of the equivalent-circuit parameters is described. A miniatu re monoblock bandpass filter using (Zr0.8H, Sn-0.2) TiO4 ceramics is fabric ated at a center frequency of 1600 MHz. Excellent experimental results of t he fabricated filter measured by an HP8510B network analyzer verify the des ign specification. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
