Abstract
The etiology of parkinsonism is varied. Symptomatic parkinsonism is seen in the setting of genetic disorders, infectious processes, structural lesions , and as a result of concomitant medications. A thorough history and good e xamination will differentiate PD from the diverse group of conditions that can mimic it.
