This article provides an overview of recent developments in time-resolved s
mall-angle X-ray scattering on the high brilliance beamline (ID02) at the E
SRF. With the image intensified CCD detector and the full photon flux, it i
s possible to obtain a good scattering curve of a very weakly scattering bi
ological sample with only 0.1 s of acquisition. For intense scattering samp
les, the longest camera length (10 m) allows to access d-spacings up to 1 m
um. The high resolution Bonse-Hart setup extends the spatial range up to 5
mum. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
