Abstract
Fluorescent X-ray computed tomography (FXCT) at a 0.05 mm in-plane spatial resolution and 0.05 mm slice thickness depicted the cross sectional distrib ution of endogenous iodine within thyroid. The distribution obtained from t he FXCT image correlated closely to that obtained from the pathological pic tures. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
