H. Hashimoto et al., Development in (X-eX) spectrometer for coincident measurement of the Compton scattered photon and recoil electron, NUCL INST A, 467, 2001, pp. 1434-1437
Three dimensional electron momentum density (3D-EMD) can be obtained from t
he measurement of coincidences between the Compton scattered photon and rec
oil electron (X-eX). We developed a new (X-eX) spectrometer in order to mak
e it possible to apply this method to thicker and heavier specimens. The ne
w specrometer has an electrode in the recoil electron path itself to genera
te a retarded potential, The momentum resolution is achieved as 0.31 a.u. i
n the experimental condition of the incident X-ray's energy (115.6 keV) and
the applied potential (-23 kV). (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights
