Abstract
Synthesis and stereochemical characterization of enantiomerically pure nucl eoside-phosphorothioselenoates are reported. The effects of solvent and tem perature on the vicinal carbon-phosphorus couplings are described and the r esults are interpreted in terms of conformational changes influenced by sta cking interactions between the bases and the phenyl rings.
