Abstract
We consider Maxwell-Chern-Simons electrodynamics coupled with spinors or scalars carrying a tree level (anomalous) magnetic moment. The latt er can produce an attractive interaction between equal charge particle s that leads to an unusual planar dynamics. We show that fermion and, in particular, scalar pairs can condense into bound states; genericall y, S-wave bound states appear for rather low magnetic moment whereas P -wave bound states require larger values.
