Abstract
Chiral-at-the-metal Fischer carbene complexes are prepared by reaction of c oordinatively unsaturated Cp(NO)(Ph3P)Mn(+) or Cp(CO)(Ph3P)Fe(+) by intramo lecular rearrangement of hydroxyalkynes and the parallel reaction of methyl alcohol with TMS-acetylene.
