Abstract
Exposure to four indoor air pollutants (carbon monoxide, environmental toba cco smoke, mold spores, and mercury vapor) may contribute to serious illnes s or death among children. Specific guidance is given regarding when to mea sure these pollutants and levels that are considered acceptable. Rules of t humb are provided to assist the clinician faced with an indoor air pollutio n issue.
