Abstract

In-plane and out-of-plane angular correlations of fission fragments detecte d in coincidence with projectile residues produced in nuclear collisions F- 19+U-238 at 115, 120, and 125 MeV have been investigated. The data are desc ribed assuming sequential fission decay of targetlike nuclei produced in pe ripheral transfer reactions.
