Abstract
The sorption of carbon disulfide on carbon materials was studied as influen ced by the chemical nature of their surface and presence of surface oxygen- containing functional groups and metal ions differently bound on the sorben t surface. Cation-substituted carbons with considerably higher capacity as compared with the initial sorbents were prepared.
