Abstract
The structural and electrochemical characteristics of cadmium electrodes wi th nickel introduced in metallic state into the active material of the elec trode by electroless plating were studied. The specific role played by hete rophase interactions between nickel and cadmium in the mechanism of cadmium electrode activation was substantiated experimentally.
