Abstract
Cationic rhodium complexes of certain nitrogen-containing ligands exhibit e xcellent catalytic activity in the addition of arylboronic acids to aldehyd es. The counterion had a notable effect with the weakly coordinating carbor ane anion affording a highly active catalyst. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd . All rights reserved.
