Abstract
Data on the structures and properties of nanoclusters and nanocluster syste ms are analysed. A classification for nanoclusters and nanosystems based on the method of their preparation is proposed. Methods for assembling nanost ructures from nanoclusters, assembly principles and types of nanosystems ar c described. The appearance of new properties upon combination of nanoclust ers into a nanosystem is noted.
